Transport: we go by car, round trip, from your hotel/apartment in the city areas indicated on each tour. The vehicle carries between 1 to 2 persons. The prices are per vehicle and NOT per person. If there are more people, please contact us for prices and we will have a van available.
ALGARVE - BEST OF THE WEST
FULL DAY - 7 HOURS
LAGOS - SAGRES - CAPE ST. VINCENT - SILVES
A trip to the most south-western part of Europe. We start with a coffee stop by the harbor in Sagres. We then explore the Cape St. Vincent fortress & lighthouse, all with the excellent back drops desserted beach & the battered Atlantic facing cliffs. Lunch stop, where you will be dropped at restaurant or snack bar, or just have a cliff top picnic!
After lunch we head to Lagos, one of the most beautiful cities in the Algarve, where you have free time to sightsee & shop.
After Lagos, we head towards Silves, where you can visit the largest castle in the Algarve and one of the oldest cities in Portugal. You can walk along the streets of white houses that reflect the sun and blue sky and where you can find traces of the Arab and Jewish presence

We start by visiting the capital of the Algarve: Faro. A coffee break followed by a visit to the "Chapel of Bones".
We proceed to Olhão to visit a traditional Portuguese fish market, one of the largest in the region.
Passing through Santa Luzia a picturesque river side village on the way to Tavira, the town of churches. Here we have free time to explore and break for lunch.
Upon our return we stop at what must be one of the most beautiful villages, Cacela Velha, a great photo opportunity.

We start in Silves with free time to explore the Castle and the Cathedral. Or for the less adventurous a coffee break just outside the Castle walls!
We then take a slow winding drive to the foothills of Monchique passing through some beautiful countryside. With a stop at Caldas de Monchique, the Spa village, then onto Foia the highest point in the Algarve.
On a clear day you can see for miles. Once making our way back down Monchique, we stop at a handicraft shop of your choice.

ALGARVE - DAY TRIP TO PRAIA GRANDE (GAY BEACH)

- This tour runs from March to October -
Visit the most famous gay beach in the Algarve. Long Sandy beach, with a very big part that is nudist and gay friendly (lots of gays but also straight people), both visit the beach. It has a large area of dunes, a place for some cruising where there is sometimes some action.
We will pick you up from your accommodation at the agreed time and upon arrival at the beach we will go with you to the “gay area”, as it is a little difficult to find. We will provide you with all the information you need to have a more relaxing or lively afternoon. You will also have a beach towel, a beach umbrella and a cooler with food and drinks available to use during the day. Then you will have free time to do whatever you want and at the agreed time, we will be waiting for you to take you back to the meeting point. On the side beach there is a small bar where you can buy more cold drinks.

Day Trip to Mertola & Alcoutim (Authentic Portugal Interior)
FULL DAY - 7 HOURS
Explore the beautiful Alentejo region around Mértola and Alcoutim in the inner Algarve on this full-day tour. You will get to know the culture and history, exploring the villages, their museums and other attractions. This is the chance to experience nature and a more serene rural life for a day. An ideal tour for those visiting for the first time and for those who already know Portugal, because you will get to know another reality.
Leaving the Algarve, we will head to Mértola, a beautiful village in Alentejo bathed by the Guadiana River, which gives it a unique character. Full of history and medieval remains, we will visit the Mértola Museum. From the Roman House to the Islamic Art Center, passing by the Castle, you will see pieces thousands of years old in perfect condition. During our journey, we will be able to admire the natural beauty of the town, always with a view of the Guadiana, and the typical streets and alleys that take us to another era. This will also be the place where you will have lunch.
After lunch we leave for a little-known Algarve, we continue along the Guadiana river and visit the beautiful village of Alcoutim.
Alcoutim, a village nestled on the hillside invites serenity, far from the hubbub of the coast, with a breathtaking view of the border river, the Guadiana and the village of Sanlucar de Guadiana, on the Spanish side.
You can walk through the village streets or take the small trail along the banks of the river. If you wish/optional, you can take a mini river cruise (extra cost) for around 45 minutes.
At the end of the day we will be back on the Algarve coast and finish at the collection point
