Vietnam and Cambodia are part of the dreams of many people to visit, for having those breathtaking landscapes, giant Buddhist temples and some of the great wonders of the world, UNESCO World Heritage.

In this amazing trip in Cambodia & Vietnam, you will start in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. You'll visit and sleep on board a cruise in Halong Bay, then you’ll head to the central area of Vietnam in Hoi An, the city of lanterns and you end your journey in Vietnamese lands in the giant and busy city of Ho Chi Minh/Saigon. After your journey in Vietnam, you leave for Cambodia to visit the mythical city of Siem Reap, together with the visit to the world famous temple complex of Angkor Wat.

Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade.

Around the city, the streets are very busy, always with many motorbikes passing by, and vendors on foot or by bicycle, balancing their baskets with fruit or fresh fish. In architecture, check out how the French colonial buildings contrast with the pagodas and captivating museums, as Hanoi is a very cultural city with a full agenda of events.

From Hanoi you depart for a 1 night cruise in Halong Bay. Halong Bay is one of those places in the world that almost needs no introduction. In addition to being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it was one of the newly elected 7 New Natural Wonders of the World. Aboard a cruise is the best way to get to know all its beauty, sailing slowly and discovering small exotic caves.

In the center of Vietnam is the wonderful and charming city of Hoi An. It has a unique beauty, whether for its architectural and cultural heritage, or for the river that is the center of everything that happens here, including the festival of lights that every night gives it greater animation. Hoi An is one of those must-see cities in a Vietnam itinerary. Hoi An is known for the city of lanterns and you will find out why.

You end your Vietnam trip in the frenetic city of Ho Chi Minh, formerly Saigon. Before it was Saigon: dominated by France, capital of French Indochina and later capital of South Vietnam, which had the support of the United States in the war that ended with the victory of North Vietnam, the communist side of the dispute. Today it is Ho Chi Minh City: a huge vibrant metropolis, cosmopolitan and full of foreign influences, the largest city in this historic and very interesting country in Southeast Asia.

From Ho Chi Minh City you head towards the neighboring and less visited Cambodia to the city of Siem Reap. Although not the capital of Cambodia, Siem Reap is the main tourist destination. What brings millions of tourists to the city every year is the fact that it is the gateway to the wonderful temple complex of Angkor, which served as the backdrop for the movie Tomb Raider. The city itself has a unique charm that you will only find here, it is a unique and very special city.

You will also and always have your own time, so you can also explore at your own pace whatever you want, go shopping, or simply stay by the hotel pool.
