Get to know Kandy, Sri Lanka's second-largest city and home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. You will visit a tea plantation (very famous) and also pass by the banks of the river Mahawali: see some monkeys and who knows, a jaguar!
The Golden Temple of Dambulla and the Ancient City of Sigiriya are two of Sri Lanka’s most impressive UNESCO World Heritage sites and you will climb the dramatic rock fortress of Sigiriya.
Enjoy a safari into pristine nature as you enter Udawalawe National Park to discover a huge variety of wildlife. Explore an untouched wilderness as you look for herds of elephants and other animals.
Mirissa is a gem on the south coast of Sri Lanka and we are going there too. In addition to hours stretched out in the sun on the beach, you'll also enjoy breathtaking views of the beach from Parrot Rock, a small island along the Mirissa Beach and watch the sunset from Coconut Tree Hill, a cliff located at the end of the beach.

On this first full day in Negombo, after breakfast you will discover the wonders of Negombo on a trip in a tuk-tuk vehicle. Visit the fish market, Dutch Canal, Angurukaramulla Temple, and more while learning local history.
You'll visit major Hindu religious sites such as Sri Singama Kali Amman Kovil and blend into daily life in Sri Lanka.
The afternoon is free to explore Negombo at your leisure or, if you wish, take an optional tour of Colombo.

Sri Lankan food is very famous and today you are going to be the cook: ready for a cooking class?
At a local's house, you'll learn how to make 6 curry and plain rice with papadam and Sri Lankan dessert. You'll learn all the techniques and take the recipe home so you can impress your friends! And yes, what you cook will be your lunch!
After a fantastic lunch, you have the afternoon free to enjoy the amazing beach or do some last shopping in Negombo because tomorrow you leave for Kandy!

Today you leave Negombo and early in the morning, after breakfast, you depart towards Kandy in a private transfer.
After checking in at the hotel in Kandy, you can relax and have lunch wherever you want and around 2pm you'll explore Kandy in a tuk-tuk!
You'll visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth, situated in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, the Queen's Bathing Pavilion, the National Museum of Kandy, the Buddhist Temple on the top of the hill and a breathtaking view.
You will visit a tea plantation and maybe, next to the banks of the river Mahaweli, see monkeys and maybe even a jaguar!
After this incredible tour in the afternoon, you have the evening free to relax.

Today you have to wake up a little earlier because you have a fantastic tour ahead of you. After a hearty breakfast, you leave the hotel towards Sigiriya.
You will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress known for its massive column of rock that reaches nearly 200 meters high and the Museum and then it will be time for lunch.
After lunch, you'll visit Dambulla Cave Temple and Golden Buddha Statue, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Buddha's life is painted on the walls of the cave which is believed to be done during the 2nd century. You'll also visit Matale Sri Muthumariamman Hindu temple.
After a great day (there were many steps), you have the night free to rest and do whatever you feel like.

Today have your breakfast, relax in the morning by the pool and get ready, because in the afternoon you have a safari in a 4x4 Safari Jeep!
Enjoy a safari into pristine nature as you enter Udawalawe National Park to discover a huge variety of wildlife. You'll explore Udawalawe National Park, one of the most undisturbed and pristine natural ecosystems on the planet enriched with a wealth of Sri Lankan elephants. See huge herds of elephants, and enjoy glances of water buffalo, wild boar, spotted deer, jackal, and more.

This morning you leave Udawalawe. After breakfast at a time to be agreed, you take a private transfer for about 2 hours towards Mirissa.
It will be time to absorb the laidback culture of this sunny beach town, enjoying fresh coconuts and eating delicious food from beachside restaurants.
The afternoon will be free for you to go to the hotel's pool or beach, drink a cocktail and do whatever you want.

You’re nearing the end of your journey and are now at the beach, so these days are for relaxing. Optionally, if you’d like, you can embark on a whale-watching boat tour and keep an eye out for whales and dolphins as you cruise the ocean.
If you’d like to join this tour, you’ll need to wake up very early. Let us know in advance if you’d like to book it, and we’ll arrange everything for you.
You will have free time to relax on the beach or watch the famous sunset from Coconut Hill, a picture-perfect spot surrounded by swaying palm trees.
